Planning the Week 4/8 – 4/14

I’ve gotten into a routine of planning out my week. I find it makes things go a bit smoother. So here I am planning out my week for all the world to see. I love seeing how other people organize their weeks.

This week I actually decided to start working on freezer meals. It’s a great way to cut down on my time in the kitchen and to use all of the ingredients. We were terrible about letting things go to waste. I’m really trying to focus on improving that.

These are the two freezer meals we are trying this week.

Vegetarian Chili Mac, Vegetarian Shepherd’s Pie

And the sweetness

Peanut Butter Banana Bars

Sunday: Vegetarian Chili Mac

Monday: Shephards’s Pie

Tuesday: Egg Salad Sandwichs/ Wraps with Tater Tots

Wednesday: Pizza – we have an event that night and need something fast and easy – Publix had BOGO on Tombstone’s this week.

Thursday: Chili Dogs (with leftover chili)

Friday: Tacos

Saturday: Chicken Tenders with Pasta Salad

Of course this can change depending on what happens this week, and I already know I have a charity function next Sunday but feel ready to start the week.

Chores:

I washed the shower curtain this weekend along with all of the towels in a soak of vinegar. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever washed my shower curtain (the outside one).

Need to get:

shower curtain liner, the clear one

bike pump

oil diffuser (I feel like everyone has one – and I would love to have lavender in our bedroom at night)

Need to do:

Create a new Pinterest board on house paint… wahoo!!! We had someone come out and give a quote yesterday. He can’t get to us for about 3 weeks, which is fine because I need ideas!!!  Follow my progress here.

Mother’s Day — I need to go ahead and order my mom’s gift to have it arrive in time. I always wait till the last minute and I want to avoid that this year.

Easter Decorations – Time to put them away. Yes, they are still out…and there is no excuse. I want to post 2 or 3 items to sell before I put things away. Time to let go of things that I no longer need, one little thing at a time.

Facebook Yard Sale – While I’m on that subject, I have about 10 things I need to post. I just need to do it. I don’t know why I dread it so much, it really is super easy. I just hate going back and forth about where to meet and when, I never meet at my house.

Have a great week!!! I’ll let you know next weekend how my planning went!
